Adult Ministries Pastor
Art grew up in Northern Michigan, and later moved to Chicago where he attended college and then pursued a career in information technologies for over a decade. But over time his heart grew for fulltime ministry and, through the encouragment of his wife Debbie, he eventually enrolled at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion. His experience includes over nine years of teaching at Park Community Church in Chicago, where he also served as the Acting Director of Adult Education.
Art and Debbie have two children, Jack and Lucy.
Student Ministry Pastor
Jason grew up in Northeastern Ohio. While serving in the United States Air Force, he received his Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado Christian University. Following an honorable discharge from the Air Force, he attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages.
Jason married Haley in 1998 and they have three daughters, Addisyn, Makenna, and Myla, and one son, Cohen.
David is originally from the Chicago area, then moved to Northeast Pennsylvania before attending Cedarville University. There, he graduated with degrees in church music and music composition. David then earned his Master's Degree in Music Composition from Cleveland State University and is currently studying Spiritual Formation at the Jacob Institute for Christian Spirital Formation.
Also while at Cedarville, he met his wife Sarah and they were married in August of 2008. She partners with him in ministry by playing the piano, singing and being a constant encouragement.
David and Sarah have two sons, Noah and Josiah.
Children's Ministry Director
Tabitha was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. She received her degrees in Speech Communication and Social Work from East Tennessee State University. Tabitha received her Master’s Degree in Children’s Ministry in 2011 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg Virginia. She has served in several ministry settings including camp ministry, mission trips and church planting. She has also served on a church staff in Tennessee. Tabitha’s heart is serving children and their families and seeing God work in their lives.
Diane is originally from Youngstown, but moved to Mentor during college. Diane received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ursuline College and her Masters of Science in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University. She has worked for local companies like Lubrizol and academic institutions like Lakeland Community College and Cleveland State University as an adjunct professor. She has also taught in the fields of computer science and information technology.
Diane and her husband Tom have two grown children, Tim and Rebecca.
JoAnn and her family moved to the Mentor area in 1992, from San Diego, California. JoAnn has a background in accounting and is a trained Dave Ramsey Financial Coach/Counselor. JoAnn and her husband Ralph reside in Painesville Township and have two grown children, Kelley and Brett.
Administrative Assistant - Children and Youth
Annie grew up in Mentor and graduated from Mentor High School. She has served in youth and children's ministries for the past 16 years. As the Next Generation Ministry Coordinator, she coordinates the Children's Department volunteers and helps plan and coordinate youth events.
She and her husband, Greg, have two children, Kyle and Allison.
Sondra grew up in Southeastern Ohio. She attended Ohio University where she graduated with a degree in Journalism. Upon graduation, she moved to Lake County and married her college sweetheart, Bob. They reside in Concord Twp., and have three children: Wes, Robyn and Rudy.
Tom was born in Ohio and grew up in Arizona. He attended college in northern California and earned a degree in Social Science from West Valley College. He returned to Ohio in 1977 to marry Connie. He put his faith in Jesus Christ in 1989 and started a new life in and with the Lord.
He spent 30 years in sales and service with several leading national corporations before the Lord gave him the gift of serving as the custodian at Trinity Baptist Church in March of 2008.
Tom and Connie have lived in Mentor since 1986 and are members of Trinity Baptist Church. They have an adult son and daughter.
